Main entrance and overall layout

Our office is located on the ground floor of an apartment complex. There are no stairs within the office space, everything is on the same floor.

The entrance door is approximately 91cm/3ft wide. There is a small lip of about an inch tall. There is no automatic door opening.

There is a large open space that serves as a waiting room. At present, there are four hard-backed dining chairs and a table at which to sit while waiting for an appointment.

The hallways are approximately 113cm/3’8 wide. Every individual office has a slightly different layout, but they all have doorways approximately 80cm/2’7 wide. Furthermore, all feature a couch of 44cm/1’5 in height for clients to sit on during session. Furniture in the office may be moved upon request to make things more comfortable for clients.

washrooms

There is one single-stall, gender-neutral bathroom at the back of the space. It does not have a push button or a bar. It is approximately 133cm/4’4 x 139cm/4’6 in size.

Masking

Masking is generally voluntary within the space, but we ask that you be mindful of others who may be masking for their own safety. If your therapist asks you to wear a mask for their comfort, please do so.

If you are sick, please let your therapist know, and follow their comfort level around masking, moving the session online, or rescheduling.

Service animals and support workers (ASL interpreters, etc.) are welcome, but please give us a heads up first!

Parking

Street parking is available on the streets surrounding the building.

Online therapy

Our clinic uses the platform Jane to host online sessions. This includes video and audio input. Video input can be turned off if desired, or clients can request a phone session, as decided on a case-by-case basis.
